Make sure you're the sole user connected to your router. The best way to check which devices are linked is by opening a web browser and entering its IP address. Your device refers to it as the "default gateway" when running the 'IPconfig' command in the command prompt. You might also try sending a pathping test from another location, such as your ISP's site, to see if any packets are lost during transmission. If they reach your router without interruption, the problem likely lies with their side. You can inform them about the packet drops to help them locate the issue. If everything appears normal, you should see a similar result here. Other tools exist for testing this method, which you can find linked below. This appears to be a server-side problem, indicating poor connection quality. It's their own site, making it even more frustrating. Next time they blame "too many devices," you can present the data showing packet loss times and IP addresses.
