Your Wi-Fi works most of the time but occasionally drops for a short period before restoring itself, which is frustrating during tasks. This issue occurs with your Telus router.

I understand you're dealing with a problem related to your modem. Could you share the model numbers of both your router and modem? This will help identify any specific issues or compatibility concerns.

It's the wireless and modem that's causing the issue, I've tested many things but nothing fixed it.

Connecting via Ethernet to the Telus gateway still causes connection fluctuations. Interruptions aren't limited to wireless setups. If you encounter issues, reach out to your ISP directly for assistance. The problem could stem from their gateway or local wiring. For wireless connections, it might relate to the built-in radio—disabling and replacing it with a personal access point works—and excessive nearby interference, which requires a survey to confirm.
