Hey everyone, I've noticed my ping consistently rising to around 300ms in most games lately. It fluctuates between 120ms and that higher number. I'm using an Ethernet connection with a download speed of 300 Mbps and upload at 10 Mbps. There are a couple of people in my home who stream video regularly, which might be affecting the network performance. What could be causing this issue?

Which titles are you enjoying? Which area do you find yourself in? Are you connected to the closest servers?

You reside in a specific location, your internet service provider manages your connection, you track latency through ping measurements, and you link to designated servers.

The output will show the number of packets received and the latency details for the ping to www.google.com.

Bandwidth and latency are distinct concepts. Latency refers to the time delay before data transmission begins. Bandwidth indicates the volume of data transferred simultaneously. Therefore, a quick download speed doesn’t guarantee a low ping.

Close to Portland, OR. Xfinity. I watch League of Legends to check ping, but I experience poor lag in all other games too. I’m not sure which server I’m on.

I ran Trace Route via cmd for google.com results. The path showed various hops with latency details. I reviewed the documentation files and gathered the information.

Navigate to the IP address using Open CMD, check your network settings, and switch the location you're in.

The site isn't accessible at 192.168.1.19. Connection issues are reported. Check the network settings, proxy configuration, and firewall rules. ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED indicates a failed connection attempt.
