Internet connection is experiencing frequent interruptions and drops, occurring with both Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Performing a factory reset on the router didn’t resolve the issue. The ISP claims everything is functioning properly on their side and suggests connecting your PC directly to the source for testing, but the problem continues. I believe there might be something wrong, as all my devices are affected. Any suggestions? It seems like I’m running out of options.

If the problem continues on all devices using both Ethernet and Wi-Fi, it likely points to a hardware issue with the ISP’s gear or a connection problem on their side. I’d reach out again to keep the case moving and ask for replacement equipment. Ideally, I’d arrange for them to configure their modem/gateway in bridge mode and use my own networking devices, as ISP equipment tends to be unreliable—replacing it would be the next logical step.

Tell me about your internet provider and the kind of connection you use. Also share the details of your equipment and any additional networking devices.
