I have limited experience with Linux. It took some time to understand my current situation. Please share a link or step-by-step guidance for installing from a flash drive, and I’ll help you.

I understand the basics and how it runs, but this is mainly about testing. The server acts as my trial setup. For networking, you’ll want to check the chipset details—whether it’s a specific network card or just the mainboard’s support. If possible, having the full driver disc will help, though speed improvements are what matter most.

The driver files are available only for Windows. Search your motherboard’s details and locate the maker’s site; there you’ll find the technical information that includes the chip used in the NIC.

Well, I've looked on the page and it only shows chipsets for the actual board (north and south bridge), however towards the bottom of the spec list, there's a note in the remarks section that says: So it looks like Linux doesn't quite like the chipset (at least, that's how it sounds). At least that confirms that it's a driver issue, so we've got that narrowed down. (site I pulled the specs off of)

They're stating that the drivers aren't produced directly by the manufacturer; you need to select a distribution and obtain drivers created by others. Look up the Windows driver for your network chipset and let me know—I'll check for a suitable Nix-compatible version.

Located the file. Realtek LAN driver v10026_04302018 available. Here’s the download link (just in case) and the full driver catalog page.

I plan to try that tomorrow. Other options might be useful if the first one fails, and I’ll let you know my results next day.
