Your device occasionally disconnects from the internet during downloads or when hosting a Minecraft server. The only solution you’ve tried is restarting it, but it keeps losing connection until you manually power it off. You mentioned several steps taken: replacing cables, using different Ethernet connections, performing a clean Windows 10 install, updating your motherboard and CPU, and switching internet providers. Your hardware specs are listed. There might be another underlying issue not covered by these changes—consider checking for firmware updates, testing with a wired connection only, or consulting a professional for deeper diagnostics.

Consider this a last-minute consideration—don’t power off your PC just yet. Open Command Prompt with admin privileges and run sfc /scannow. If that doesn’t resolve it, check your internet connection status; if TCP is down or the NIC isn’t responding, see if restarting in Device Manager helps.

When it reaches that unusual condition, launch CMD once more and execute the command Ipconfig /all. Share all the details; you may need to enlarge the CMD window for clarity. To verify internet outage, run Ping 8.8.8.8 and save the output. Use Nslookup by entering "Google.ca" and share the findings. You can also check the network interface card status via: Control panel > view by: large icons > network and sharing center > change adaptor settings. If no connection exists, capture a screenshot of this process.

Have you refreshed the Ethernet device drivers? I brought up this issue since we aren’t certain about the standard troubleshooting steps you’ve attempted. It’s important we gather all details. Could you clarify? Edited June 17, 2022 by silencer12

Turn off IPv6 on your device and the router. If successful, send me your mic.
