I realized i should return to this forum since it’s helped me a lot before with problems i couldn’t fix on my own. I just moved into a condo and switched from bridge mode to router mode for full control. My Nighthawk R7000 is the model i’m using. When setting up initially, my Ethernet cable didn’t connect to the internet for my PC but worked for other devices. I reached out to Netgear support, who seemed confused about what to do. I figured my static IP was the issue, which turned out correct. My previous static IP wasn’t working with this router and new modem. Now that I’m using dynamic IPs and getting an auto-assigned IP, internet is working. Still, my PC drops connections while others stay online. When it happens, i log in to the router and see my PC listed as connected, but all other devices have internet. I’m guessing it’s a PC issue, though I’m not sure. I tried restarting the PC before, but nothing else helped. Maybe the firewall is involved, but that doesn’t seem right. My main question is what’s causing this and if there are router settings i can adjust to prevent it.

Monitor continuously with consistent updates. Share findings for both addresses. Confirm issues and pinpoint the source.
