Hello, so i got this headscratcher recently. it didn't use to do so and I don't know what could've started it. i feel it happens after the last warzone update but that could be a coincidence more than anything. I have an msi ge66 and it used to run fine now, whenever i start a game, my wifi just shows its connected but no internet and then just disconnects all together. when i close the game it comes back sometimes instantly, sometimes it requires a manual reconnection to the wifi. so i tried to connect using my phone's hotspot and it works a tad better as in it doesn't disconnect but any game is unplayable (ping through the roof, packet loss for days) then again, i just find out, when i use my laptop on battery, on power saving mode, it seems to work fine. and if it might help i unchecked allow windows to turn off the wifi adapter but to no avail. pretty sure there is at least one of you fine folks that knows better and can advice me, but i've beet butting my head against the wall trying to troubleshoot it since yesterday and i tried every "solution" i found out there. thanks in advance edit: I just did a fresh windows install and its still the same

I don't have access to the laptop's internal components or its WiFi adapter details. You'll need to check the device's manual, manufacturer website, or use network diagnostics software to identify the model.

Consider pausing the Killer Control Center if possible. If you don’t rely on the Killer suite, remove it using their included drivers and add the newest Intel WiFi drivers for the AX201 chipset.

bringing this old issue back up again since it seemed resolved when I asked my ISP for a new router, but now I’ve relocated and faced the same problem with yet another completely different device. I want to mention that all drivers are current, power and data saving features are off, and I tested both with and without the Killer Control Center. It functions perfectly wired—it’s just the Wi-Fi that works.
