I was curious about using the PS4 on my PC without connecting a monitor. There might be some limitations or performance issues, such as lag. I wasn't referring to using your PC's screen directly.

I aim to clarify your request by emphasizing the goal: managing your PS through PC controls while viewing everything within a Windows interface.

Sony's PS4 Remote Play lets me control my console from anywhere. I rely on it often, especially during trips when I can't bring my PC. It works smoothly as long as my internet speed exceeds 6Gbps. For those who prefer using a keyboard and mouse, the PS4 Macro option is worth checking out.

It depends on the setup. The PS4 needs to be powered on and connected properly—either directly via USB, through a router, or within the same room as your PC. If it’s far away, ensure a stable internet connection and consider using a wired link for best performance.

The PC can be placed anywhere near the PS4, but the PS4 must remain active. It functions as a wireless screen for the PS4, allowing you to link your controller to the PC which then relays inputs back to the console. It's completely free—just download and test it.

It relies on your home Wi-Fi, meaning it works anywhere. But in the PS4 settings menu, you must turn it on via the network (refer: https://manuals.playstation.net/document...ernet.html). For best performance, connect using an Ethernet cable to avoid lag.
