You're asking how to resolve compatibility issues when using two different NVIDIA GPUs on the same motherboard, especially if the older GPU isn't supported by the latest drivers. The solution typically involves updating the drivers for both GPUs, ensuring they're compatible with each other and the system, or using a compatible GPU manager.

Nvidia's drivers support nearly all GPUs they offer. Your GTX 780 and GTX 1070, which are two different models from two generations, both ran with the same GeForce Game Ready driver version. Unless you're using older systems, this should work fine. The main challenge is that your system doesn't recognize both GPUs since they aren't part of SLI. Answering this accurately would need more details about your setup and specific situation.

You need to revert to a previous driver version. After updating, the second GPU encountered an error and stopped functioning. I tried rolling back to 522.25, which resolved the issue. There are newer drivers in between 522.25 and the latest 527.37, but I’m unsure which one is best. The older card still works on its current setup. If you have time, testing the GPU swap would help confirm the fix. Thanks for your assistance!

I've also attempted that option, but my graphics cards are significantly different—3060 and 710.
