Your wireless router is located far away and can't be relocated. The Wi-Fi signal doesn't reach your room, but you have a Cat6 cable from the router to your space. You're thinking about using it for a wired PC connection while also wanting Wi-Fi coverage in your room for your phone and laptop. Someone might suggest setting up a hybrid setup or checking if additional extenders are needed.

Obtain a wireless access point featuring several Ethernet connections. Connect your extended cable to the AP’s designated 'WAN' port and attach your computer to another available Ethernet port.
