Start by understanding your setup. You have Google Nest Wi-Fi hubs around your home, but devices connected via LAN aren’t being detected. Your printer works with sharing on the router, yet other devices don’t show up. You’re sure you’re using the correct share URL, but Nest isn’t assigning addresses properly. Ask someone familiar with networking to check if address assignment is controlled by the router or if Nest needs configuration changes.

I'm using a Dymo 4XL printer that doesn't have a built-in Wi-Fi chip. It's connected through the USB port on the router, and I think its IP address is the fixed one assigned by the router.

Usually USB sharing on routers requires specific setup steps. You need to turn it on first, then add it using SMB or SAMBA protocols. It seems you're dealing with Double-NAT, where your router offers one NAT address while your Google Wi-Fi device uses another. Your IP addresses should differ between the two devices. It's unlikely port isolation is active.
