What volume of<|pad|> is being handled? Is this a sustained setup or a single task? Based on this, I could recommend incorporating a NAS/File Server as a middle layer. Unlike the Windows Desktop OS, many Linux distributions are better suited for transmitting large data volumes over the internet. If only a handful of files need sharing, Google Docs would suffice. For email purposes, it depends on the size of the data.
