You want to connect remotely to your desktop from another device over the internet. Since you're using Fedora on both laptops, you'll need to set up a VNC server on your desktop and then use it to access your project. Make sure to check compatibility between your versions.

Parsec and TeamViewer are the top options for remote access. Both can handle the task effectively. If you're using Windows Pro instead of Home, consider Remote Desktop as an alternative. For detailed instructions on Remote Desktop, refer to Microsoft Support's guide.

You're on Linux and can't use Windows Pro. You prefer free tools instead of paying for Parsec or Teamviewer. Parsec isn't functioning, and the Flatpak installation is problematic.

Parsec isn't supported on Linux; it works only as a client for Windows. Yet Parsec and TeamViewer are both free options, which makes it unclear why you're investing in costs.

Only one machine needs Fedora; use X11 forwarding instead.
