Hi everyone, my Plex server started up correctly on my Windows machine, and I managed to upload and delete files without issues. After rebooting, I lost access on my Windows PC, though I can reach the server over the network with my Mac and even a Raspberry Pi running Raspbian. The web interface also functions properly across all devices, including mine. This suggests the problem might be specific to Windows. I noticed the server appears normal in File Explorer, but clicking it triggers an error stating Windows can't connect. It advises checking the name, renaming it, or deleting it from the network settings. I've adjusted network settings to private, disabled the firewall, and toggled SMB1.0 in the Control Panel features, but nothing changed. Anyone have suggestions? I'm puzzled since everything worked until the restart.

Check if RASBERRYPI is reachable. If not, it might be a hostname resolution problem or the IP address has changed. Use `//` followed by "RBP's IP".

Sure, I can handle that easily. I even set a static IP, just to confirm—I’m able to reach the server smoothly via the web client and over the network from my Mac. The issue seems to be with accessing it from my PC over the network.

Navigate to your desktop and generate a new shortcut. In the destination box, input double backslashes followed by the IP address of your Pi and a final backslash, like this: \\192.168.1.101

You can still send a ping from the Windows machine, but it won't work through the Mac. That's why you're focusing on that specific issue.

The problem in the network tab should be resolved by checking your connection settings and ensuring Windows can reach the network. You can test connectivity using a ping command from Windows.

I’m starting to believe the Raspberry Pi I see might be another device connected to the network.

You mentioned your location or the name you used instead of an IP address. Let me check that for you.
