No and the reason is unclear.

It's unlikely since memory slots aren't linked to the correct CPU lanes. There exists a DIMM.2 from Asus, a DDR4 interface compatible with an NVMe SSD via an adapter, though it transmits PCIe signals internally rather than using standard connections.

A board featuring limited PCIe ports yet numerous RAM slots can support a high-end DDR3 memory module with an 8x speed.

Memory isn't linked to the chipset directly; it works through the North bridge. Even with that, high latency would be a problem. While I'm confident about speed, compatibility issues would arise. Consider Ethernet versus USB in this context.

OP is referring to DDR3 slots connected to PCI, not the reverse. That wasn't a strong illustration.

USB stands for Universal Serial Bus, a technology built to fit various devices. It doesn’t have a dedicated RAM slot for a PCIe card. The concept refers to the same video format used by a PCIe card that enabled creating a RAM disk.

I don't know which one I'm exhausted about. A clearer case would be display port to USB Type-B.
