Connect LAN device via phone's WiFi network.
Considering the setup, I'm unsure if posting here or in the Servers/NAS subforum is best. My Emby server runs on a Linux machine for HTPC use, with TV, HTPC, and PC all linked via a switch connected to a router. Everything seems to work smoothly, but when entering my static local IP from the phone on WiFi, it fails to locate it. The WoL app can still activate the server properly. It appears communication should be possible. Is it feasible to reach a local IP address like 192.168.x.x from a phone using WiFi? Don’t worry about the server behavior—it’s now functioning correctly.
