Is this feasible? You own four hard drives, and you're looking to connect them to a switch or network for convenient file access and easy drag-and-drop functionality.

Consider linking those drives to a single computer and configuring network shares there. This will provide straightforward access and allow you to move files easily.

Need a middle piece, probably a PC or NAS with a USB port.

I was planning to connect them to a USB hub on my desk, which seems like the simplest option. However, I'm trying to keep things tidy, and having four drives, four power cords, and four USB cables all in or near my desk is really stressful. LOL

I have a QNAP device in my rack near the switch, with four available USB 3 ports. I’m mainly concerned about accidentally affecting the NAS setup since I’m not very familiar with network configurations.

As discussed, I connected a USB hub to my NAS and inserted all eight drives. Appreciate the assistance.
