Conky themes and how they work?
Conky themes and how they work?
I also shared an update about starting Conky automatically, which I fixed using Gnome Tweaks. The issue I found was missing the proper theme and widget installation, so now tutorials usually reference .conkyrc or a .conky folder for conky.conf. When installing Conky, this folder isn't set up correctly, which causes it to use a default theme. However, even after moving the theme file, Conky won't open. This might be due to missing configuration, and transferring the theme still doesn't resolve the problem. Operating system: Fedora 37. Desired theme: Pleione by closebox73x.
Ensure ~/config/cocky/Pleione/start.sh is enabled for automatic launch, not conky
You should place the script in the autostart folder, but since you're not familiar with Gnome tweaks, you might need to adjust settings manually or use a different method. Let me know if you'd like guidance on that.
Create a conky.desktop entry in ~/.config/autostart with the specified details. The file should include the application type, executable path, and autostart settings to launch Pleione with the correct configuration. Ensure the username placeholder is replaced before saving.
