Hey! I'm working with a Ryzen setup on an A320M motherboard (specifically a Gigabyte A320M-S2H with two DIMM slots). Usually I use 12GB RAM—two 6GB sticks (call them A and B) plus an 8GB stick. Previously, everything ran smoothly until the PC froze. I tried resetting it but couldn't get a post-screen. I swapped the two sticks and booted with just one of each at a time on both slots, but nothing worked. Then I used a spare 4GB stick (B) alone, and it started up fine. When I tried with Stick A, it also booted normally. But with the 8GB stick, Windows and BIOS showed it as only 4GB, so I got 8GB instead of 12. Now it's even puzzling. I swapped the 8GB back to Stick B + 8GB, but only worked if Stick B was left and the 8GB was right. If I flipped their positions, the PC wouldn't post at all. It seems strange—swapping the sticks changed behavior completely. My main concern is whether the DIMM slots are faulty or if it's the original RAM pair I used. To sum up: Stick A = my original 4GB stick Stick B = a duplicate 4GB stick. What’s happening still isn’t clear.
