Hi there. Your recent upgrade to the AMD 5900x worked fine. You’re considering replacing your 750W Bronze PSU with a more efficient model, aiming for extra capacity in the future. You bought a Corsair RM850x 80 Gold modular and installed it. The machine won’t boot with the new PSU, but it briefly flickers when power is applied. Other adapters that fit with Corsair ones. At first I connected it through Corsair power supply > Corsair cables > sleeved extensions > Mobo. When that failed, I removed the sleeved ones and ran the Corsair cables directly from the PSU to the motherboard. Still no success.
