Checking Gigabyte B550M DS3H for 3060 and a 10GbE adapter makes sense. I believe it has two x16 slots—one likely for the 3060 and another for the Nicgigia Ethernet card.

The card requires PCIe x4, but your motherboard supports only PCIe x1 for the secondary slot with a 3.0 speed PCIe x16 port. It could be PCIe 2.0, which might function in the secondary slot at a lower performance level or not work at all. NOTE: The board has undergone some revision updates, affecting the slot configuration. It seems you haven't bought this motherboard yet—consider choosing another one to prevent confusion about the device you receive. —robin_2000

You could purchase a board that includes a 10G NIC, or buy the board and NIC separately.

Should be fine, However looks like you need to pick the correct slot, as one of the 3 is only PCI x1, and the card lists x4 and up... 1 x PCI Express x16 slot (PCIEX16), integrated in the CPU: AMD Ryzen™ 5000 Series and Ryzen™ 3000 Series Processors support PCIe 4.0 x16 mode AMD Ryzen™ Ryzen™ 5000 G-Series and Ryzen™ 4000 G-Series Processors support PCIe 3.0 x16 mode * For optimum performance, if only one PCI Express graphics card is to be installed, be sure to install it in the PCIEX16 slot. 1 x PCI Express x16 slot (PCIEX4), integrated in the Chipset: Supporting PCIe 3.0 x4 mode 1 x PCI Express x1 slot (PCIEX1), integrated in the Chipset: Supporting PCIe 3.0 x1 mode

I received the Nic for free. From what I see, there should be one slot at x16 and another at x4, which seems correct. Since the card is 10GbE, I believe two would be sufficient bandwidth. I haven’t purchased the board yet and am asking here.

The linked page indicates the minimum speed is x4, which supports my confirmation. The important secondary port is PCIe to 10Gbe RJ45. This adapter changes PCIe slots (X4/X8/16) into 10G Ethernet ports. Keep in mind it applies only to PCIe ports, not PCI slots.

The main issue here is the revision changes. Previously, the second PCIe x16 slot was set for PCIe 3.0 x1, but now it's switched to PCIe 3.0 x4. This update might affect compatibility depending on where you purchase it. Be cautious if buying from sources other than Gigabyte's Amazon seller, as prices can vary. I also noticed a typo in the earlier versions that was corrected.

The 10GbE card appears as x2 in the BIOS, and testing confirms it delivers 1GB per second. Clearly the GPU functions efficiently in the faster slot.
