CONFUSE!! b450m mortar max & b450 tomahawk

I planned to combine the R5 3600 with a mortar max or tomahawk max. I'm unsure which to purchase long-term. I'm not overclocking and just want to test the CPU and RAM first. Should I go with the B450M or the B450 Tomahawk? The latter offers more VRAM for a first-time buyer like me. Most forums suggest different choices based on case and other factors, but I need advice on the best performance between these two motherboards for the long run.

you might choose a cheaper option because you seldom upgrade your pc over the long run. your current setup has similar specs for about 3 to 4 years.

I’d choose the mortar because it has an extra m.2 port and is more compact.

Both will work with Zen 3. The mortar only has marginally worse MOSFETs, which is fine.
