Confirmed massive downgrade for Mass Effect.
Confirmed massive downgrade for Mass Effect.
The only thing worse than lying about Dev is being a gamer who supports them.
They only work with small groups, which is why they seem to be hiding something.
Wow, the things people complain about these days. How about just play the game and enjoy it for what it is instead of wasting time whining and making these pointless silly comparisons. We ALL know by now, the trailers are all about marketing and should never be taken as actual in-game footage. Most of the time, I find the actual game looks better in the flesh than it does in the trailers. Such is the case with ME:A. Have played the game for an hour or so thus far and it looks great, IMO. I have no issues with the graphics what-so-ever. I don't see this so called "downgrade" at all.
I’m happy I’ve been playing for 34 hours so far, enjoying the experience. It feels like a mix of ME1 and ME3, with some fresh mechanics—like finding real armor or weapons and crafting them to wear. The animations are a bit lower quality, even funny at times, but they don’t impact gameplay much. Most of the time I’m exploring the larger open worlds we’ve seen before, and Insanity difficulty actually presents a real challenge. Hopefully they’ll improve the animation issues. If not, I’m likely to stick around with the multiplayer, just like I did with ME3. I’m willing to pay $46 USD for it on GMG and expect to get many hours out of it.
It appears most adjustments focus on tone rather than actual improvement.
I noticed some feedback about the gameplay mechanics—it feels a bit awkward compared to what you experienced in ME3. The interface works well, though, and the UI is surprisingly easy to use. The storyline is familiar but not overly engaging. There are a few animation issues and some odd character designs, but outside of the memed moments on Reddit and YouTube, it’s not that problematic. It’s not as bad as some are claiming, especially if you already loved the series.
