Trine 3 is sure to arrive, though it may take some time. Developer Frozenbyte introduced Trine 3 in a conversation with Gamingbolt, calling it an obvious choice since the franchise has been so successful. They aim to avoid making it feel like a Trine 2.5, possibly limiting play until the end of 2014. There was a gap between Trine and Trine 2, and currently Frozenbyte is focusing on a brand-new title. The team plans to release some exciting updates this year, though no games are scheduled for now. They mentioned they didn’t want it to resemble Trine 2.5, which means it should feel much improved. Since Trine 2 is already quite demanding, this version will likely be extremely challenging to complete. Nonetheless, it should still look impressive.

They might have a chance to improve it further. Let's be real, Trine 2 didn't need to be so intense to appear this impressive.

I really can't wait for Trine 3, this is an old topic, but I just have to bump it because it's been so long! Anyone got any news on the progress? I've spent at least 200 hours in total on Trine and Trine 2.

Hey there! I want to share something personal. With my friends, we rarely made it through the second part because we always rushed and finished just a bit over halfway or so.
