I was ready to enter my full name and email, and everything looked correct with the server details. At the end of the page, there wasn’t a button to finalize the entry. The previous versions would prompt me to add another account, but I never did, nor did I just finish one. ...I have updated OCtober.

I have the win 11 23h2 version, but webb task manager was set up as instructed, ended on fioch, McAfee and Firefox still showed upon startup. Regarding Microsoft, there were many links to them and I wasn't sure which one to pick or if I should choose all of them. What's going on with Dell and FF not being compatible? I think I set it up the way I did a year ago when I first got this refurbished laptop.

Are you encountering an issue with Firefox or Thunderbird? Dell works well with FF, as demonstrated by its current use on my Windows 11 laptop for this message.

Yes, regarding FF and Thunderbird, the main point of this discussion was about encountering all the points I mentioned when starting up. I checked Task Manager and disabled McAfee, which I had never used before. However, I noticed many Microsoft processes still appearing and repeatedly interrupting me whenever I move around. FF remains visible during boot even after closing tasks.
