On Reddit someone mentioned updating the paths in the SPM to work with MO. They suggested a specific file structure, but noted they didn’t find the Mod Organizer folder in their Steam apps directory. It might be located elsewhere—check other mod installation paths or configuration files.
It doesn't need to be present. It's simply wherever the mod organiser is installed.
