Hey everyone! I'm setting up a NetGear router for bridged mode with an AT&T modem/router combo. I've turned on IP Passthrough and can get internet through the router, but I'm having trouble with port forwarding on the NetGear. Even though I've forwarded the right ports, they're still showing as closed. I'm wondering if I'm missing something else needed. Also, I noticed I was able to set up port forwarding on the NetGear before using my own modem, and I tried AT&T's own system but it didn't work either.

Verify the packet filter settings on your AT&T router to ensure it isn’t restricting traffic. Think of it like the BGW210-700—check its configuration for any blocks.

I also have a BGW210-700 unit. I reviewed the Packet Filter area and confirmed it is turned off.

Which port are you attempting to redirect? You mentioned having the same configuration and successfully forwarding, but you're curious if it might be blocked at another router.

That's fine! I've checked several ports, but I'm testing port 7777 for Killing Floor 2. I'm using this site to confirm the ports (https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/).

Did you ask if the server was active during your check?

It was indeed that way. I simply shut down the server and attempted a restart. Still, it displays as closed.

I can't directly access or display the port forwarding configuration on your NetGear router. However, you can view it by checking the router's web interface or using its companion app. Let me know if you need guidance on accessing it!

I'm checking if we've sent TCP and UDP packets. The IP address seems accurate for the server. Could confirm the Netgear model you're using?
