Hey there guys. So, I was trying to setup linux mint/Ubuntu and I was searching for an exe file which installed linux very easily and you could uninstall the file to get rid of the linux system. Does that linux setup way still works? and if you guys could provide me link for the file. I know you can partition your drive to setup easily but the removing process is tedious so looking for the easy way out. I just want to run some command on linux for educational purpose.

For Windows users, the simplest method is using the Ubuntu developer tool available in the Microsoft Store. This lets you execute a command-line version of Ubuntu within a somewhat limited environment.

I'm looking for a Wubi version, not necessarily the latest update. Any older release that works would be great!

bellard.org offers a similar service, though I aimed for a more complete Linux setup without partitioning my drive. I'm somewhere in the middle.

You can deploy it within a virtual machine such as VirtualBox or VMware for a graphical interface.
