I've been away from mesh Wi-Fi systems for a while, but I'm eager to upgrade my home network. I've been comparing various setups but finding it hard to tell real specs from marketing fluff. Can you help me identify the key features? I need coverage across four floors, with the bottom two areas heavily packed on 2.4GHz. I have Cat5e connections on every floor, and the network must support at least four devices at once.

Your configuration works excellently for Orbi. Your cat5 connection serves as a solid wired link, enhancing overall speed. Eero stands out as the primary alternative; other solutions on the market fall short compared to these two. Orbi offers decent performance despite its clunky app, while Eero provides a smoother experience with a more polished interface.
