I was attempting to set up a server on Jedi Academy and encountered some issues. The console started but didn’t let me connect to it. Trying to play through the console also failed. Using Hamachi didn’t resolve the problem either. Now I have the Movie Battles 2 mod installed, and I’m still having trouble creating my own game there. The same issue occurs with the mod. Help would be really appreciated.

They likely depended on Game Spy Arcade, which they shut down permanently. You might need to set up port forwarding. Consider trying Evolve instead—it performs better than Hamachi in my experience.
