Hey there, welcome! I'm new to this and sorry if it's not the right spot. Can you guide me to the best places to find answers? I'm planning to use a Raspberry Pi to run old-school gaming systems like Sega, NES, SNES, N64, PSX and PS2. I have a few questions: 1. Which Linux distro is most suitable for this setup? 2. What emulator works well? 3. Where can I find ROMs? 4. Any tips on controllers? Thanks for your help!
I haven't set one up myself, but a friend is using Retropie. For SNES or older titles you can try the suggested controllers from Amazon. For other games, an Xbox controller with an adapter works well. Another point is unclear about pairing the new Raspberry Pi with Retropie and the controller. An adapter link is provided.
