Hi everyone, Can I use one specific RAM stick for storage cache? My idea is: I already have a 2x16GB in dual channel mode. If I add another RAM module, can I use it to speed up SSD or HDD? P.S., sorry for my English, I'm Italian.

The system isn't configured that way. It usually operates in hybrid mode, using the first part of RAM in dual-channel and the remainder in single-channel. Your OS already utilizes all available RAM as a cache for your HDD/SSD. Increasing RAM simply expands the cache size without any settings.

Windows handles caching on its own. Some programs boost performance by storing files in RAM or another SSD. An SSD is inherently quick and gains little from RAM caching, since it does more than Windows does.
