You can adjust the DNS settings manually through your router's interface or by using a web-based admin panel if available. Check the documentation for your specific model to find the correct steps.
After logging in, locate the "system" section at the bottom of the interface. Select it and input the desired DNS for the ER-X in the "system name server" field.
Only DNS queries from the ERX are altered. This applies when a DNS forwarder is active, not when it's not. To ensure clients connect directly to OpenDNS, you'd need to set this up in the DHCP server settings to broadcast to network devices.
