I have two storage devices with distinct characteristics—differing in size, connection method, and manufacturer—and they aren't listed in the system info on my Maximus ix code during the RAID configuration process.

You can't combine two different storage drives at once. Their sizes must align, and they need to use the same connection type. For instance, both 250GB and SATA drives work well together. Mixing an NVMe drive with a SATA drive will create speed problems.
