I installed BitLocker on my new system but can’t reach the BIOS anymore. I’ve tried pressing the del key repeatedly and using Windows’ reboot option, but it doesn’t work. This seems to be a problem with BitLocker disabling the CMOS or something similar. How can I get back into the BIOS, possibly by contacting Microsoft and considering alternatives like VeraCrypt?

It depends on the setup. Clearing CMOS usually resets the system, so you can't boot normally until you re-enter the unlock key. This applies to most prebuilt PCs, whether HP or Dell.

I'm thinking you might need to reset your BIOS settings and then restore the CMOS to fix it, allowing BitLocker to function properly afterward.

Bitlocker doesn’t allow any changes to your BIOS settings. Regardless, always ensure you can reach your BitLocker recovery key—sign in with your MS account and store it elsewhere.

Activated adjustable bar and added RGB Fusion. Likely restarted after BitLocker, not just the recent changes.

I've relied on BitLocker for many years and it has never touched BIOS settings.

Confirm the following day and ensure the CMOS is reset. Now I receive either * D2: PCH initialization error * F3: Recovery firmware image detected, which causes the system to power down shortly afterward.

I opened the side panel and noticed the graphics card was sagging. But it looks like the issue might be with my monitor. Even though I didn’t change anything, it seems the monitor stopped receiving the signal. I pressed its tiny joystick button, which brought it online and confirmed a signal was present. I set it to auto-detect, which caused the monitor to test all inputs and fixed the problem. I think the D2 error should reappear later. I have a larger graphics card (RX 6800). Thanks to everyone who offered advice.
