I own a Ryzen 5 2600, Corsair Vengeance 3200 2x16 GB RAM, MSI 1650 GPU, and a 750W power supply. I changed my cases and moved from an ATX board to a Mini-ITX in a new case. After the switch to the new motherboard, I opened Task Manager and Windows only shows 16GB of RAM available out of 32GB being visible. I looked into the BIOS (which was recently updated) and confirmed both RAM modules are being read properly. On another forum I read to check CPU-Z and HWInfo. Both tools displayed the full 32GB, but HWInfo only listed 15GB of physical RAM available. I also tested each RAM stick separately in the slots on the motherboard, and one slot failed to boot. I suspect there might be a problem with the motherboard itself, possibly a faulty RAM slot. It seems strange that the system still recognizes the full capacity when it doesn’t actually work.

I've encountered this before. The typical fix is to reinsert the memory or exchange the slots it's currently using, and sometimes use compressed air to clear any dust from the contacts. If that fails, consider it may be a hardware issue, though in most cases a proper reinsertion resolves the problem. Good contact allows the system to recognize the RAM model and detect it, while insufficient contact prevents Windows from reading it properly.

Your RAM model is confirmed as Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400 C16 2x16. The size specification refers to the maximum capacity per stick, not the total allowed size.
