Check if Ryzen supports hyper-V nested virtualization in its latest versions. Earlier generations didn’t allow it.

I verify that the Ryzen 3600 is not compatible with nested virtualization. I attempted it on Windows Server 2016 and Esxi as well.

I don't share your opinion. I successfully ran nested virtualization with VMWare ESXI 6.7 U1 on both Ryzen 3600 and 3700x without issues (Esxi was on the host, hyper-v in the guest). The issue appears only with MS HYPER-V—only in hyper-v can you not use nested virtualization with AMD hardware. Here’s a link to a User Voice discussion about this problem: https://windowsserver.uservoice.com/foru...-and-ryzen So it looks like only Microsoft is attempting to restrict features on AMD devices... This is disappointing.

I didn't install ESXi on bare metal; I used a VM on VMware as you did.
