Configuration details for i9-9900K during high demand
Hello everyone! I’m planning to upgrade my CPU from i7-9700 to i9-9900K soon. I’ve heard this chip can get quite demanding, so I might need to prepare a bit before purchasing it. Right now, my setup is mainly for gaming, with some coding and Unity work, but my goals will shift later in the year when I start working in an IT-focused business, particularly in game development where 3D rendering tasks are common. The question is: if I run GTA5, Autodesk Maya, or similar demanding applications, how much heat would it generate under those conditions while using stock settings? (Just a note, I won’t overclock.) Thanks and have a great day/evening! Mobo: MSI Z390 ACE GPU: MSI RTX2060S
Sufficient power is provided, and with accurate voltage adjustment you might still extract additional energy
I don't have a specific answer for this, but generally, higher temperatures can affect performance and stability. For games like GTA5 or Blender, you might want to check the manufacturer's guidelines or community forums for recommended operating ranges.
