Based on your setup, you'd assign ports to a firewall or router. Allocate one port for the firewall uplink and add more as needed. Give them a specific VLAN ID (any from 2 to 4094). Ensure each port is in the correct mode—either UnTagged or Native. You can have some ports connect to a standard router, while others link to your VPN firewall or router. If you only need one firewall, you're moving into Tagged Ports, dividing the device into separate routing domains like VRF or VDOM.
