Hello, with two monitors set up and multiple windows open on the second one, turning off the main monitor causes all those windows to appear on the main screen. You've already looked for a fix but haven't found one. Someone can help you resolve this issue.

It doesn't occur for me. Possibly the monitor has a problem. My setup keeps power to the DVI/DP ports, so Windows assumes the display is active even though it's actually off. This happens whether I unplug the cable or disconnect the power cord completely (not just press the power button). It might also be related to the operating system—my version is 8.1 enterprise with an iGPU, while mine is 8.1 pro with r9 290 x-fire. GPU issues seem less likely here.
