Hello Community, I'm looking for your assistance with a connection issue. I just moved into a new flat and want to set up a LAN connection in my office. The ISP plug is about 7 meters away from my office. The old power lines inside the house make me unsure if a stable connection would be possible. Drilling through walls for a LAN cable seems like the last option since all walls are made of brick. I was thinking about using Wi-Fi between my Fritzbox 7530 (from ISP) and another central device in the office. Is there a feasible, affordable solution? Also, I need four Ethernet plugs in the office—thank you in advance! Knoppersd

Consider integrating a Wi-Fi module or USB port into your office equipment so they can connect straight to the FritzBox’s network.

I’d like to try, but my current units don’t support WiFi and there’s no room in the hallway. The flat LAN cable can’t fit under the door, unfortunately.

The video I shared is about a second Wi-Fi router acting as a bridge for connecting wired devices.
