Upgrade your gaming PC with a new build, focusing on performance for modern titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Assassin’s Creed games. Currently using an older Intel i5-9600K processor, ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-F GAMING motherboard, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM, you're ready to step up your gaming experience.

Here’s a proposed component list:

* **Processor:** Intel Core i5-12600K – A significant performance boost for modern games.
* **Motherboard:** ASUS ROG STRIX B660-F Gaming – Compatible with the new processor and offering excellent features.
* **RAM:** 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz – Ensures smooth gameplay and multitasking.
* **Graphics Card:** NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti – Provides high frame rates and ray tracing capabilities for demanding games.
* **Power Supply:** Corsair RM750x 750W – Reliable power supply with enough headroom for future upgrades, potentially scaled down to 650W if needed.
* **Storage:** Samsung 980 Pro 1TB NVMe SSD – Faster storage speeds for quicker game loading times and system responsiveness.

You currently have an Intel i5-4690K processor with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cooler, an ASRock motherboard (unspecified), Crucial Ballistix 8GB DDR3 RAM, and an ASUS STRIX GeForce GTX 970 graphics card. These components are several years old and limiting your system’s potential. Your existing case, PSU, and older motherboard/RAM should be replaced to ensure stability and compatibility with the new build.

You're running Windows 10. This upgrade addresses performance bottlenecks and allows you to enjoy current-generation games at higher settings and resolutions.

You should obtain a 1TB Crucial P1 NVMe SSD, ensuring it’s the boot drive. Discard the old 128GB system and opt for an NVMe SSD instead – it will perform significantly better. Consider a Ryzen 3600x processor paired with an MSI Tomahawk B450 motherboard if budget is a concern; otherwise, explore options like the 9600K and Z390. Aim for 3200MHz or 3600MHz RAM, particularly with Ryzen. A Radeon RX 5700 XT is a suitable GPU choice. Select a high-quality PSU, preferably a pre-2019 model like the EVGA Supernova G3 or Seasonic Focus Plus Gold. For Windows, perform a clean install to avoid potential issues and ensure you have a new license.

Here’s a rewritten version of the text, focusing on clarity and removing redundancies:

“I’m looking to purchase a computer system as a bundle to save money, and I’m weighing an Intel-based configuration against potential AMD options. The initial offer included an Intel processor, motherboard (MoBo), and RAM – specifically 3200MHz RAM – which seemed like the best value compared to buying them separately.

I'm considering two 2018-era power supplies: the RM750x and RM850x. While the RM850x offers more headroom, its 850W capacity feels excessive for my needs. I’m also planning to include an NVMe SSD, though current prices are a concern.

Regarding Windows, I currently own a retail license (approximately five years old) and am unsure if it's OEM. I need to verify this. I’ll likely follow online tutorials for a clean installation. ”

The RM750x is sufficient.
Regarding the Motherboard, CPU and RAM, if there’s a good deal on an Intel bundle, then take it. I was simply noting that AMD generally offers more value. However, that Intel motherboard is excessively expensive in general for that chipset, especially paired with a mid-range CPU. It would require a substantial discount. I'm guessing you can acquire a faster Ryzen 3700x and a respectable x570 chipset motherboard for approximately the same price.
