Concerns regarding my initial project
The greatest improvement would come from increasing RAM (provided you need it for renders) or expanding storage space (though only if you run out). I can't be sure what you intend to do, so I'd suggest 2x32GB. It's simple to add more later, but using only two 16GB drives now might limit performance if you add more, possibly slowing things down. It's a minor issue that could be fixed by starting with higher RAM.
I don't, I'm still getting used to this build. As you mentioned, extra storage might be useful if needed, but the RAM requirements are definitely important. Right now I'm a bit puzzled about the AMD EXPO certification and XMP settings—some people say it's just marketing, while others are skeptical. I'm trying to figure out which option is best for my situation.
How ? I struggle to see if things are heading in the right way, I’m asking all my questions for that.
I believe not everyone is the same; I value aesthetics, especially when spending a lot of money, so yes—if I’m doing everything white, I’d appreciate finding a memory RAM with good stats that matches the rest of the build.
The RAM needs aren't certain, but increasing it might cause more problems later. EXPO is good, but often the XMP option will function well for AMD when using just two sticks. I'm focusing on RAM because running four sticks can lead to instability at higher speeds. Sometimes, based on the board and RAM type, even standard EXPO/XMP settings might fail with four sticks. Buying two 32GB sticks should work for this setup.
