My 'DEF_UI' mod allows me to personalize my Heads-Up Display configuration within Fallout 4. Although I haven’t utilized it recently, yesterday I discovered an inability to persist my changes through XML saving. If anyone possesses expertise in this area, I would be grateful for any assistance you could offer. Thank you beforehand!
I reviewed the initial message and adhered to the provided directions... now my display shows a large white background adorned with crimson characters, reading: “Generate configuration XML using the configuration application; execute HudMenuSet.exe from the Data interface folder.” – and this action is unsuccessful. I fear a significant setback may require me to remove all my modifications and restore Fallout 4 to its original state.
