You're worried about the overclocking of the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Mini ITX Overclocked 4GB card. It's normal to have doubts, especially if you're new to building your PC. Don't worry, it won't affect anything else unless other components are also overclocked. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully and test everything properly.

It only has marginally increased clocks, voltage, and power use. If your PSU struggles to cope, buying an overclocked version might not be worthwhile since you could even need to slow it down. But if your goal is to overclock beyond the original specs, then the pre-OC edition can still help you reach higher clock speeds than a non-OC GPU. Not always, but often.
