Hello everyone! Welcome, I'm just getting started here and apologize if anything seems off. I had an idea for a new video about setting up a VoIP network in the office—maybe with Linus doing it. I noticed he often moves around trying to get attention, so this could be fun and useful for the whole LMG team. Any feedback would be great!

For communication, everyone uses Slack, Google Hangouts, and similar platforms. VoIP seems redundant here, given the office size.

There isn’t strong public interest in this area, and my professional experience focuses on enterprise Cisco CallManager solutions. Many people overlook the technical details of SIP and related topics.

Many folks have switched to wireless connections recently. I’m sure my family has followed suit too. We no longer have an AT&T line; during the siding work, we wrapped it around a pole. Around five years ago, we asked Comcast to move their service elsewhere, and after my grandma passed away, we didn’t need it anymore.

VOIP offers a solid and cost-effective solution for internal communications. Using FREEPBX with zoiper or gsw enables making traditional landline calls from your mobile device. It also provides an intercom capability, and VOIP phone systems are affordable.

He wouldn't require VOIP phones or intercom systems. A simple download of Linephone and dialing the member's IP address would suffice. Alternatively, he could use Discord (which he already has) or any other software/server. The SIP phones seem to be still widely used.
