What PSU are you looking at? Need to know the make and model, how much power it uses when it's on (wattage), how old it is, and is it in good shape like a brand new one or used but working fine? Did it get really hard work before? Was it used for gaming, editing videos, or even mining coins online? Also, does this thing go with motherboards too?

The PSU is a Corsair RM850x with 850 watts of power. It has been sitting on the desk for three years and was originally built by someone who put it together themselves. The unit looks brand new but hasn't been used much, just for gaming without any video editing or mining jobs. It's an older model that I've mostly used to power up computers with two different mobo boards.

The power supply unit is probably the problem. You could try fixing it, but if you want things easy, check Reliability History or Monitor. Look there for errors, warning messages, and other events that happened right before or exactly when those BSODs occurred. Do you have another 850-watt PSU available to swap in? Just make sure to use the cables that came with your new one.

nope, i don't have another power supply ready for testing. if that happens, i'd need to buy one. i can't believe the PSU is faulty because it worked great for three months with a new mobo, but now the computer only acts up once I turn on Secure Boot in the BIOS. i think it's either a software problem or a motherboard issue. The RAM, CPU, and GPU are all swapped out this year.
