System details include an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X with 16 cores, a replacement AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D with 8 cores, a Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2 motherboard, an RTX 3080 Ti GPU, an EVGA Supernova 850 T2 power supply (80+ Titanium 850W), and 64GB of G.Skill RipJaws V Series RAM (288-pin DDR4 3600). The setup is about two years old and recently failed to power on, with no response from the power button, fans, or LEDs. Initially suspected a power supply issue, but after replacing it with a new 850W unit and using a tester, the new PSU showed a DOA status while the old one worked fine. Both the new and old PSUs failed to get the computer to start. The motherboard and CPU were replaced as well, both showing normal operation at this stage. I checked the forum guide for troubleshooting steps and confirmed all power cables are connected properly, including after swapping the CPU power cable. Despite testing with one RAM stick and different slots, the system remained unresponsive, and no power was detected on the monitors.

basically any significant part might halt the entire system from functioning.

Thank you for the clarification. It's important to confirm whether this applies to the post tests as well. The lack of post code information is making it hard to pinpoint failures, and I was assuming only specific hardware could cause issues before the post test. For instance, I've experienced problems with a PC GPU that I could remove from the system, yet the post tests still ran successfully.

Utilize the graphics on the CPU's motherboard and attempt to start BIOS.

Thanks for the input, I continued leaving the drives connected until now. I attempted what you recommended, but the problem persists. The same pattern occurs—fans start up and LEDs activate, yet it doesn't pass the post tests. I was using one stick of RAM; I tried a couple with different sticks. It looks like either the new CPU or motherboard might be faulty, or all the RAM and/or the cable is dead.

I should definitely start exploring this new configuration. Since the PSU is working, and the CPU and MOBO are brand new, there aren't many choices left right now. I plan to change some power cords and install fresh RAM. I'm a bit worried that some of these parts might be faulty, but I'll keep an eye on things. In the worst scenario, I might have to return everything and start over.
