Computer refuses to power up
Hello, I need some assistance with my build. I recently purchased a decent PC from New, but I assembled all the components. The parts include: Intel Core i5 12600k, NZXT N5 Z690 (LGA1700), Corsair Vengeance 3200 MhZ DDR4 32 kit (216), and 2Kingston NV2. I also have a PCI-E 4.0 M.2 NVMe SSD. The only upgrades I made were to my PSU and GPU, which are an ASUS GTX 1060 6GB and a 750W Corsair (or possibly bronze). The whole setup isn’t working properly. RAM tests passed, CPU is new, motherboard tested, GPU and PSU functioned well on my previous board. BIOS was updated on the motherboard, and when I connected the PSU to the motherboard, I could see the BIOS flash button flicker, indicating power was being delivered. I’m really stuck, please help me.
Hello there, new member!
The only components I haven’t upgraded yet are my PSU and GPU, which are:
ASUS GTX 1060 6GB
750W Corsair (?) Premium (or bronze—I don’t remember.)
I’m curious about the age of your PSU and the model of your PSU.
You should still be able to power your build without the discrete GPU because you have an integrated GPU on the processor.
the psu is a corsair cx750m
i receive power to the system, so the gpu display appears white and the mmo's bios flash button also lights up. however, i’m confused because it still doesn’t turn on properly
